IN PAPER

EUROPAL IN BEATER: It is mostly applied in the beater. The required quantity depends upon the intensity of the desired white, on the self colour of the material used. raw cellulose, fillers, sizing agents etc., In beater dyeing 0.02- 1% to the weight of pulp of EUROPAL 2BH brings out maximum results. The temperature content should be maximum 40* C and pH value of the circulating water in the beater may be maintained within the limit of 6.5 8.0. Europal 2BH is first dissolved in some hot water & then it is diluted with cold water and added in small portions to the material in front of the material soil. Europal 2BH can also be added while working in refiner or in the tub under neutral conditions. Immediately after the goods are transferred to beater containing water Europal 2BH must be added. Europal 2BH can also be applied with the usual shading dyestuffs.

EUROPAL 2BH IN DIPPING PROCESS: It is essential to whiten the materials before it is submitted to an alter-treatment (Creaping, impregnation). In dip dyeing the paper is dipped in solution containing 0.03 0.05% of Europal 2BH. It is in the interest of best whitening effect to add tiny quantities of ammonia in acidic media.

EUROPAL IN SURFACE DYEING: Fillers used for the manufacture of coated papers are more or less yellowish of greyish. Even in this case an addition of Europal 2BH to the coating of dyeing liquor can improve of the white effect considerably. The amount of Europal 2BH depends on the white effect desired. The addition of Europal 2BH may be between 0.02 0.06 gms per litre of the coating mixture. However for the thick coatings more quantity of Europal 2BH is required.
